Wexford Opera House
Wexford Opera House is Ireland’s first custom-built, multi-purpose opera house. The stunning landmark building is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Harbour town of Wexford and offers two diverse performance spaces, The John and Aileen O’Reilly Theatre and the Jerome Hynes Theatre.

Storey Telling Houses
Want a chance to see some real rural Wexford culture? Storytelling has been enjoying a renaissance in County Wexford with eight houses accross rural Wexford hosting regular sessions. St Michael’s Theatre Centre for the Arts
Originally built in 1806, the refurbished theatre and expanded arts centre hosts approximately 300 events each year, comprising everything from drama to film to ballet to rock concerts and much more.
It has a 300-seat theatre, two visual arts spaces, a cinema, a coffee shop in the morning, a 50-seat studio venue and a bar during evening performances.
St. Michael’s Theatre is a community based arts centre serving the New Ross district and surrounding areas. It is the only Arts Centre in the South East with a stage big enough to stage large ballet productions.
St Michael’s Theatre Centre for the Arts has been awarded the Excellence Through People Award for Customer Care and Human Resource management.

Wexford Light Opera Society
WLOS has a varied and colourful legacy of musical involvement in Wexford town. Oyster Lane Theatre Group
Oyster Lane Theatre Group have produced 15 shows so far, have given breaks to dozens of new actors and singers and entertained thousands.
Shows such as Grease, Evita, My Fair Lady and Jesus Christ Superstar, to name a few, have all created individual success stories for the group, playing an important part in the Opera Festival fringe. Wexford Pantomime Society
Wexford Pantomime’s roots stretch back to the early 1900s when the Franciscan Friars brought the tradition of Pantomime to Wexford. Every year in January, the Society puts on a stunning display of timeless entertainment with people of all ages rolling in the aisles.
Pantomime is the idle start to the New Year. It lifts the post Christmas blues and sends you into the New Year smiling.
