Gardens
There are many beautiful gardens to choose from while visiting County Wexford. Grab a blanket and unwind while being surrounded by some stunning nature. Get lost in a great book. Switch off. Soak in some sun and Vitamin D, as after all, County Wexford is the #BestForSun. Or if you prefer to spend time in a more active way, why not take a walk around the gardens while listening to your favourite podcast? There’s no better way to take in the scenery and to get lost in nature than to simply head out for a stroll.

The Wexford Lavender Farm is also a great place to get lost in nature, enjoy some rays of sunshine and to read a great book while being surrounded by the beautiful smell of lavender.
Trails
County Wexford is also the #BestForTrails. We have many stunning walking trails to allow you to get lost in nature and some stunning views. We have previously prepared a list of the best walking trails in County Wexford and as you can see there is a lot to choose from. Some of the trails on the list include The Raven Point Loop, Forth Mountain or the Baginbun Head on the Hook Peninsula.
Raven point Loop was recently listed as one of the 50 great walks in Ireland in the Irish Independent by Pól Ó Conghaile. It is a great thing to do as a solo traveller in County Wexford. It starts off in the stunning pine forest and circles around the Wexford harbour. You also get to come back by one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. Like Pól said, “you get a little bit of everything”.
Walking the Raven Point loop in Co Wexford was my first outing after lockdown. It's one of 50 great Irish walks featured in the Irish Independent and Sunday Independent this weekend. Get yer boots on! 🥾🥾 🇮🇪#MakeABreakForIt pic.twitter.com/Jpa87Y7E32
