Walking in Wexford

Wexford has a rich and varied terrain offering the walker plenty to chose from. Ranging from long sandy beaches in the east to the wild Hook Peninsula in the southwest. Walk through bird-rich polders beside Wexford town or traverse the slopes of Mount Leinster and the Blackstairs Mountains in the north of the County.

Wexford Walking Trails is a network of waymarked trails across the County. There are over 80 trails at 39 locations graded from multi-access for all, to easy and moderate walks, to strenuous hikes. 

The Southeast Greenway from New Ross to Glenmore is a 6km route with picturesque views of the Pink Rock area and the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge.
