Alpaca Lodge

Enjoy a unique alpaca trekking experience set in the countryside of Co. Wexford.

The trek is one kilometre in distance, 2km round trip. On the trek, you will be walking on the trail through our family working farm where they can embrace the country scenery of Wexford with the alpacas. The trail is located beside our forest and the River Ballyedmond where the you will also be viewing our sheep from a distance. The trek will be between 1 – 1.5 hours in total. At the beginning of the tour, we will introduce you to your alpaca so you can get familiar with them.

We will provide a brief talk about alpacas and safety talk to ensure you are comfortable with the alpaca. Then you will lead your alpaca onto the trail using a lead which will be attached to the alpaca’s collar, accompanied by two staff members. Once we reach the point on the trail where we are beside the river we will stop for a short break. The alpacas will be released into a pen for a well-deserved break. You can then enjoy the nature surrounding.
