Baginbun Beach

Baginbun Beach “Where Ireland was lost and won” gained its name from the Norman ships that landed here named ‘La Bague’ and ‘La Bonne’. A sheltered cove with a sandy beach and rich history. Baginbun Beach has to be one of the most stunning beaches you will find in Ireland it is located just outside Fethard village and is ideal for families. Host to many businesses Clifftop Coffee, Irish Experience and Sweathouse Sauna it makes for a unique holiday experience. Also part of the Norman Way Trail the significant history is becoming more recognised and is now celebrated with a Norman festival each year.
