In Bedtime Story (1951), poor John Jo Mulligan learns the hard way that inviting members of the opposite sex to Miss Mossie’s lodging house comes with serious consequences. All hell breaks loose in The End of the Beginning (1937) when Darry Berrill and his wife Lizzie agree to swap their household roles – and that’s before Darry’s clumsy friend Barry arrives.

Inspired by the children’s poetry and stories of WB Yeats, The Moon Spun Round edited by Noreen Doody and illustrated by Shona Shirley Macdonald. This coming together of artists and performers from the worlds of aerial dance and traditional arts has resulted in a unique experience that is sure to leave audiences of all ages enthralled.

CHORA by Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company

Luail presents its inaugural work, a triple bill of new dance works by choreographers Maria Campos and Guy Nader, Liz Roche, and Mufutau Yusuf. Luail’s ensemble of extraordinary dancers joins the Irish Chamber Orchestra in a vibrant exchange between dance and live contemporary and baroque orchestral works. Chora, an ancient Greek term, refers to space as both a physical place and an abstract idea. This captivating dance show draws on themes of home, memory, and landscape, creating unique atmospheres of imagined possibilities, spaces, and timelines.
