Music for Wexford present Musici Ireland
Musici Ireland began in 2012, founded by violist Beth McNinch as a chamber music ensemble. Initially focused on classical music, the group soon developed a reputation for performances across Ireland and abroad, including radio broadcasts in 12 countries. Over the years, Musici Ireland has expanded its focus to create and commission new works, collaborating with contemporary Irish composers and integrating other art forms to make work that explores social issues.
The current ensemble includes Beth McNinch viola, Soo-Jung Ann, piano and Jessie Grimes, clarinet. Jessie is Artist-in-Residence with the National Concert Hall’s Learning and Participation Programme.
