Music for Wexford present ‘Sing with Sestina’
“Sing with Sestina” is an immersive choral workshop designed to provide music enthusiasts of all levels with a unique and unforgettable experience. Under the guidance of renowned musical director Mark Chambers, participants will have the opportunity to sing alongside a professional choir, learn from expert baroque musicians, and experience the joy of creating beautiful music together.
Key features of the workshop include:
- Pre-workshop materials: Materials (sheet music, lyrics, etc.) are distributed to participants in advance upon booking.
- Collaborative learning: Participants will be seated in their voice sections, with Sestina Music vocal members interspersed among them, fostering a sense of inclusivity and belonging.
- Expert guidance: Mark Chambers, musical director, will lead the workshop, providing valuable insights and guidance.
- Interactive learning: The workshop will include instrument demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and a collaborative run-through of a selected piece with the authentic period instrument ensemble.
