New Ross Piano Festival

Our 2024 festival features an outstanding lineup of artists, including renowned pianists Paul Lewis, Steven Osborne, Yukine Kuroki, Sofya Gulyak, Michael McHale, Eoín Fleming, Trio Rodin and our Artistic Director Finghin Collins.

This year we are delighted to announce a new festival format. On Friday and Saturday nights we will present two concerts (7pm and 9pm). These concerts will have a more specific individual artistic focus, giving audiences a better experience to enjoy each artist’s style and approach.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting emerging talent, the festival will open on September 25th with our ‘Young Pianists concert’, providing up-and-coming artists from the south-east a platform to showcase their skills and creativity.

As well as the classical piano performances, this years festival welcomes Belfast pianist Michael McHale who will perform  a mix of Irish Melodies and Jazz greats, entitled ‘The Lighter Note’! 

On Saturday 28th August, British pianist Steven Osborne will host a masterclass, which is free to all attendees.

All our concerts will take place in the magnificent surrounds of St Mary’s Church in New Ross town.
