Rosslare Strand

Rosslare Strand located on the southern edge of Wexford Harbour and is comprised of sand and stone running the length of the southern peninsula. The beach is segmented by a series of timber breakwaters which are designed to retain sandy deposits along the the long, curving stretch of sandy beach that Rosslare is built around.
The village has plenty of cafes and restaurants just a stone’s throw from the beach some decent spots to dine and very little pretence — Nearby is the popular Kelly’s Resort, one of the best known family hotels in the county, as well as Kelly’s Deli, owned by the same family, and Wild & Native, the much-lauded seafood restaurant on Rosslare’s Strand Road.
Rosslare Strand railway station is approx. 400m from the village – junction of the Dublin–Rosslare railway line.
