Join us on 29th July in New Ross for the Bring It Home Festival, celebrating the official opening of the new Ros Tapestry Exhibition at the Waterfront (opposite the Dunbrody Visitor Centre).

After four years on display in Kilkenny Castle, the full exhibition returns home to a purpose-built space, made possible through the Bring It Home fundraising campaign launched in November 2025.

Festival Highlights:

  • Free guided tours of the Ros Tapestry, hourly from 11am–2pm

  • Live stitchers’ workshop viewing from 11am–12pm at 14 The Quay

  • Medieval walking tours with Myles Courtney at 11am and 2pm (starting at the Fair Gate)

The evening will feature the official opening ceremony, led by New Ross native Prof. Bríona Nic Dhiarmada (invitation only).

Created over 27 years by 180 volunteer stitchers, the Ros Tapestry tells the story of Norman New Ross through hand-stitched panels inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry.
