The Strand Cahore

The Strand Cahore is in a unique position overlooking the safe swimming beach and pier at Cahore Point with sweeping views over the sea to Wicklow Head.

Our passion for food is translated in our menu, focusing on freshness, flavours and colours. We are a young, family run business and our ethos is simple, traditional, honest food. We prepare a small menu focusing on country wide artisanal farms and producers where possible. We lovingly prepare our own breads, sauces, dips, patés and desserts daily in a traditional homemade fashion and and cook all of our dishes to order to achieve the highest quality & freshness. This however does take time to prepare so please do relax and unwind in the company of family & friends at The Strand Cahore and we hope you enjoy your visit! We are a dog friendly establishment so you can bring your pet pooch along too.

The food allergens used in the preparation of our food is available in conjunction with each menu item and is numbered according to the allergen. We cater for gluten intolerances, vegetarians & vegans – please let us know if you have a specific request and we will endeavour to cater where possible.
