Baginbun Beach

Tri the Hook sprint triathlon takes place in the picturesque surroundings of the Hook Peninsula.

 

Beginning with a 750m swim in the beautiful waters off Baginbun Beach then proceeding to a 20km cycle out towards Hook Lighthouse then returning for the final 5km run down to Fethard harbour before finishing in St Mogues GAA pitch.

 

It’s a fun day out for all the family whether you are competing or just spectating.
