Nowadays, most of us are spending more time at home than before. With government guidelines advising us to stay within our counties, it also means more of us are rediscovering Wexford and all that it has to offer. Staying local and supporting local is more important now than ever before so for this week’s #TravelTuesday, we have created a handy guide for the Yellow Bellies!
Visit Wexford have made it even easier for you to support local by compiling a list of the cafés and restaurants in County Wexford that are offering takeaway services within the new restrictions. It means you can still get your usual meal from your favourite restaurant or your morning caffeine fix from the café that you always visit. So, you can collect an order to enjoy in front of the fire at home knowing that you are supporting a local business during these challenging times.
Our #TravelTuesday tip: Where possible, pay for your order with a contactless card for a safer, quicker transaction. The weather isn’t always ideal at this time of year but if the conditions are favourable, why not take advantage of the outdoor seating that some of the cafés and restaurants offer? Remember to adhere to the guidelines in store when collecting your order, so don’t forget your mask!
